The Guggenheim in New York!

I just recently came back from a lovely trip to NYC. Each time I go, it seems that I have a theme... this time, it was museums.

The most memorable one I visited on this trip was the Guggenheim. When you walk into the Guggenheim, you are immediately struck by the incredible exhibit by Cai Guo-Qiang. 9 full size cars hanging in the air with several light beams in different colors coming from them. It is so hard to describe and you have to be there to get the full effect. To get a small taste, go to the Guggenheim website. (http://www.guggenheim.com/) This exhibit made me think so much about things.

He had another one, as well, where there were many tigers (synthetic) running at full speed towards a glass wall. They hit the wall one after the other... he says this is mankind. People do the same thing over and over despite of the horrific outcomes.

There were more parts of the exhibit that were simply powerful! You really have to see it to believe it. So, if you're in NYC before May 28, you've GOT to see it!

Thanks to my friend, Jaime, for taking me to such an incredible place!
