The Changing Times We Live In

Wow, this campaign has gone on for a very long time, and yet there is still a lot of emotion.

It's no secret that I'm a Democrat. I have to say that I've been (and probably will continue to be) a Hillary supporter. However, I am a Democrat first and will fight with my might to get a Democrat into the White House.

Having said all that, what I'm really impressed with is the amount of emotion that is everywhere. I hear people talking in doctors' offices, in stores and on the street about this contest. It's totally amazing how many people this campaign have brought into the political process.

What really brings emotion to me, though, is that we are living through history making times. During my short life time (I'm not that old), I've seen the Berlin Wall fall, the Soviet Union break apart, China welcome foreigners, and a political campaign between a woman and an African American for the President of the United States. And, it appears, we will have our first African American President.

How far we've come. How proud I am. What an incredible time...I can't wait to see what the next 50 years will bring us! Change!
